Since writing is not my gift I am going to skip through the next 7 months because if you are reading this you probably already know most of the details of those months.
Today he is receiving his 4th bag of 24/7 chemo. This is the second round of this potent chemo designed to clear out some of the cancer from his bone marrow.
Monday we will receive the results of the latest bone marrow biopsy that will tell us how well the first round of the chemo helped.
He has tolerated his chemo very well. A few side effects like retaining fluids, high blood sugar, extreme fatigue and a new hair style but he continues to work through it I really mean work. His motivation is what his father instilled in him "to take care of his family" After some convincing he has agreed to take a couple months off work so he can concentrate on getting his health taken care of and get back to the business of living.
